On more than one occasion, I’ve been told that “you can’t have the best of both worlds.” Perhaps this holds true in certain circumstances, but in my small kitchen that old adage goes the way of avocado pits, watermelon rinds and lemon seeds—in the garbage. With minimal effort and time anyone can create beautiful, home-cooked meals that are both nutritious and delicious. That is what I hope to share with you through Simple . Chic . Savory. Generally, recipes featured on Simple . Chic . Savory are health-conscious and homemade. That being said, it is my belief that there is always room in life for the occasional exception. Exceptions--in reference to my kitchen--may include a sinful dessert/dish or a sneaky shortcut. Simple . Chic . Savory also strives to feature recipes that are affordable to prepare.
